VEGETABLE IN BLACK BEAN SAUCE

  1. Take a small bowl and add overnight soaked black beans to it along with cooking wine, brown sugar, chilli garlic sauce and some water. Meanwhile, cut the veggies and keep them aside.

  2. Take a pan add oil and add chopped ginger and garlic and saute them for 20 seconds.

  3. Now add all the other chopped vegetables and cook them for 1 minute on high heat.

  4. Now add the vegetable back to the pan and add the sauce mix to it. Make sure all the veggies are well-coated. If you want to make this sauce slightly thick.

  5. Add in corn flour slurry by mixing 2 tsp cornstarch with 2 tsp of water, add this to the pan and the sauce will thicken slowly. Turn the flame off, garnish with sesame seeds and serve with rice or noodles.
