MURGH SHOLEY KEBAB

Ingredients

For Marinating the Chicken:

  1. Cut boneless chicken into chunks and rinse well.

  2. In a blender add one cup brown onions and little water and make a smooth paste. Set aside.

  3. In a bowl add boneless chicken pieces and all the ingredients

  4. Mix well and marinate chicken for at least 2 hours.

  5. Marinating the chicken for overnight in refrigerator gives best results.

  6. After marination time is complete mix well for few seconds again.

  7. Take a skewer and skew marinated meat.

  8. If you have clay oven (tandoor) then roast the chicken in it.

  9. Remove the kebab from heat when it is done and transfer all the kebabs to a bowl.

  10. Place a hot charcoal above the kebab and immediately pour ghee.

  11. You can see smoke erupting from the charcoal and at this stage close the bowl with any lid ensuring smoke do not leak.

  12. Smoke kebabs for about 5 minutes and then serve along with tandoori chutney.
