GOAN FISH CURRY

  1. Curry Paste

    Place curry paste ingredients in a tall jar and blend it and make a fine paste.

     

     

  2. For Curry

    Heat oil over the medium heat in a tilting pan add mustard seeds and let them sizzle for few seconds.

    Add red onion and cook till golden Add curry paste and cook for some time add ginger garlic paste and cook well

    Turn up the heat to medium high add tomatoes pulp and tomato paste and cook. Add water, coconut milk, sugar, salt and chilli powder stir well on a low heat.

    Simmer for few minutes and add tomatoes and green chillies and raw mango. Let it cook for some time. Adjust the seasoning

    Add fish and let it simmer for few minutes. Remove from the heat and transfer to serving bowl. Garnish with coriander/cilantro and fresh green chillies if desired. Serve with steam rice.
