  1. Firstly, in a large kadai heat 1 kg ghee. now add rawa

    To the ghee and begin to fry on a medium heat Stirring constantly.

  2. Fry until the rawa turns golden.

  3. If you prefer deep roasted sooji halwa, then continue

    To fry for few more minutes.

  4. Bring the water to a boil add sugar and cardamom powder.

  5. Pour the sugar syrup to the roasted rawa. Cook till water gets dry and reach desired texture.

  6. Serve hot with dry fruit garnish on top.
