Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together and keep it for resting for at least for 1 hour.

  2. Pour the batter into the baking tray and bake at 170*C till golden brown.

  3. While baking prepare sugar syrup and keep aside.

  4. Once baking is done, take out they tray and pour hot sugar syrup on top of the baked basbousa. Allow it to soak. Once cool down cut it into pastry size and garnish with almond slice.
