Instructions

  1. Firstly, in large kadai heat ghee

  2. Add in wheat flour and mix well without forming any lumps.

  3. Roast on low to medium flame stirring continuously.

  4. After 14 minutes the mixture will start to turn golden and aromatic.

  5. Slowly after 20 minutes the mixture will turn dark golden brown indicating wheat flour has cooked completely keep aside.

  6. Now in a saucepan take sugar and water mix well and boil for 15 minutes. No need to get thread consistency sugar syrup.

  7. Pour the hot boiling sugar syrup over wheat mixture stirring continuously.

  8. Continue to cook for 5 minutes without forming lumps.

  9. Now add cardamom powder and mix well.

  10. Finally serve atta ka halwa hot and warm.
