PROCEDURE

    1. Wash all the dal thoroughly 3 to 4 times and soak it for 8 to 10 hours or overnight. Later drain it well.
    2. Rinse it couple of time in water. Boil the dal on high flame till it get cooked and softened and keep it aside.
    3. Take a pan or Handi add ghee than add ginger garlic paste stir it continuously sauté it well.
    4. Add red chili powder and stir well for few minutes.
    5. Now add boil dal along with stock stir well and simmer the dal and add Garam masala, cook uncovered on low heat.
    6. Keep stirring often so that the dal don’t stick to the bottom of the pan or Handi.
    7. Once the dal has begun to thicken add salt as required.
    8. Add some Kasuri methi, milk, cream and butter (white butter optional) and stir well.
    9. Serve hot garnish with cream and Kasuri methi on top.
